Authentic instrumentation
Explore new textures through four orchestral sections: plucked strings, bowed strings, wind instruments, and percussion. Create individual parts with 21 solo instruments, including guzheng, yangqin, erhu, zonghu, dizi, and sheng.
Commissioned to score Disney’s live-action Mulan movie, composer Harry Gregson-Williams worked with Richard Harvey to build a sample library that could conjure elements of ancient China within a powerful modern score. The award-winning Ding Yi Music Company brings these instruments to life, recorded in situ at Karma Studios.

Colossal Chinese drums bursting with drama and motion, combined with specially processed ensembles. A selection of huge ornamental drums played and recorded in a monumental theater—a percussive great wall of sound.
Dagu offers rich and authentic Chinese drums, but it's also flexible enough to add depth, power, and character to any rhythmic tour-de-force. With a unique organic low end, this is the rumble of the underground.
